One of my clients is looking for an Senior Business Analyst / Tester - Sacramento ,CA (Hybrid) for a contract role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze, document, and map as-is and to-be workflows and business requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, and testing protocols.
  • Define user personas, validate domain models, and lead detailed requirement-gathering and refinement sessions.
  • Track and manage issues, risks, and defects; support technical teams and data migration activities as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven experience in business analysis.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and ability to translate technical requirements into business-friendly deliverables.
  • Demonstrated experience leading UAT cycles, creating detailed test cases, and facilitating defect triage and resolution.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • PMI-PBA or comparable Business Analysis certification.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred.
